? Zina Markevicius, President of CWiBAN (Chicago Women in Business Alumnae Network)had the following thoughts for the launch of MaB. Zina has been incredibly supportive through out the past year of our efforts to organize a mothers group and all the women of Booth owe her a big thank you for her tireless, enthusiasm for building the Booth alumnae community. Membership is free and open to all students and graduates. So Booth women, if you aren’t a member, join CWiBAN today!

The women of Booth are a unique community in that we are shooting for the stars in our careers, while also balancing our home lives. Mothers at Booth is a chance for us to share our common experiences, ones that other moms we know might not share. Also, it’s a value to us throughout our career and family life. Some of us are new students considering when (or whether) to have kids, while others are senior execs sending kids to college. Each generation of Booth women can learn from the one before. CWIBAN (Chicago Women in Business Alumnae Network) is thrilled at that MaB is connecting our students and global alumnae community, and we look forward to a rich future of in-person events in Chicago and online connections around the world.
